The IT Vendor Management Office (ITVMO) and OneGov team are being honored in Category 5: Government Agencies Serving Other Government Agencies for transforming how federal agencies acquire technology. By replacing fragmented, agency-by-agency purchasing with a coordinated, customer-centered, and data-driven model, the teams are making federal IT acquisition faster, simpler, and more cost-effective.

ITVMO serves as a connective layer across agencies and industry, combining procurement data, vendor intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics to provide real-time visibility into federal technology demand, spending, and supplier dynamics. Analysis that once took weeks can now be completed in minutes. Building on this foundation, OneGov applies customer experience principles and governmentwide purchasing power to provide agencies with standardized acquisition pathways, consistent terms, improved pricing, and access to pre-negotiated technology solutions.

Together, these efforts have generated more than $1 billion in realized agency savings in FY2026 while reducing administrative burden and helping acquisition professionals make faster, better-informed decisions. Government leaders gain greater visibility into technology spending and consumption, strengthening their ability to coordinate investments and negotiate with industry. By simplifying procurement and improving stewardship of taxpayer resources, ITVMO and OneGov are helping agencies deploy mission-critical technology faster and ultimately deliver more reliable, secure, and effective services to the public.
